Kyle - July 11, 2011 had.
We got the sausage and pepperoni and it was amazing. The sausage was
perfect. The crust was also really good. Good prices too. One pizza is
enough to split with 2 people. My only complaint was that it took awhile
but it was worth it."
MarkSixty - July 2, 2011 "I have been patronizing the Baltimore Grill since the early 90s,I loved
the fact that it seemed to never change (and why should it?) Some health
problems caused me a 10 year absence from my favorite town on the
Island, but in May I was excited about staying at the Trop, and eating at
Tonys Baltimore Grill. The wait staff was as efficient and prompt as
ever.I was interested in only one thing-a pizza with sausage. And they
delivered exactly as 20 years ago. This is not your NYC folding pizza, and
its not your generic sausage. It has a sprightly sauce and a crunchy
crust. The waitress was just perfect.I love this place and I hope to
get back here again. And its not too hard to figure what i will order to
eat.Tony's Baltimore Grill rocks. Its no surprise that it has stayed in
existence on this corner for over 40 years. There is a lot to be said for
consistency."
Lunautique - June 13, 2011 "Iconic Italian eatery. I have been eating here for 40 years and it
wasn't new when I started going there. Think booths are the same ones!
The Italian hang-out of old. Best pizza in A.C. unique, thin crust.
Great with red wine vinegar on it. Antipasto, spaghetti & m.b.,
great A.C. Italian rolls (like no other), alcohol, no slots to lose $.
Life is good here."
Mike Bickerson - June 12, 2011 "This place has been in AC since the 20s, still owned by the original
family. Most of the food is handmade, kitchen is open til 3 AM, bar is
open 24 hours. We had the pizza, which was reasonably priced (especially
for AC) and a few drinks, which came out to less than $20. Inside isn't
much to look out, but the food was one of the best meals we had in AC
in our four days there. We'll definitely be back."
VanDvine - June 6, 2011 "In AC, it's easy to just stop into one of the many chain eateries to get
a bite to eat. But, most of the time you're overpaying for what you
get. A friend of mine loves the Baltimore Grill so I met up with her
there a couple of years ago. The pizza was excellent - and enough to
feed me a late night snack later that night.
On my most recent
trip, I brought my boyfriend, the son of a chef, there. He was a little
taken aback by the simplicity of the menu but the waitress, seeing the
look on his face, assured him that the food would be great. He ordered
the turkey club (just added to the menu) and I ordered the spaghetti w/
meatballs. She even brought out a bowl of sauce (or, for you hardcore
Italians 'gravy') with my bread, so that my boyfriend could try it. He
loved it and he said the sandwich was the best one he'd ever had. When I
couldn't finish all of my (delicious) pasta, he dove into the remaining
meatball and loved it too.
Yes, the decor is very 70s and
reminds me of an Elks Club, but, really, those are usually the places
that have great food, because they care more about the food than
updating the look.
To each their own, I suppose, but I would
recommend this to anyone and hope that they enjoy it as much as I do.
I'm a big fan of supporting local business."

Pat Dennis - October 1, 2010 "Friends told me about this place in AC that was famous for Pizza and
Italian food. I could not believe some place like this could still
exist. It is great campy fun from the 60's! Food is great too. Prices
are unreal cheap! Don't miss out."
Gaby - Aug 19, 2010 When my boyfriend and I met two years ago, he said, "Let's go to Tony's Baltimore Grill."
A native to neighboring Ventnor, he was shocked when I said I'd never
been there before. We walked into the
this-place-hasn't-been-changed-since-the-late-60s joint... dark
paneling, old, brown, formica tables, juke boxes, red, polyvinyl-covered
chairs and checkered floor, with booths lining the walls and open
tables in the center of the (approx.) 25 x 50 ft room and waited to be
seated. Something seemed so familiar... I just chalked it up to being
like my godfather's restaurant in Philadelphia. I ordered spaghetti and
meatballs which promptly arrived on the table in about 4 minutes.
Complimentary Atlantic City rolls and a glass of their $3.25 house red
wine with a salad to share sat on our table and then, I took my first
bite of meatball... I gasped, "This is exactly like I remember from when
I was little! I think my grandmother's were like this!" They melted in
my mouth and were the size of peaches.
I was suddenly jolted back to 1976 in a vision of my mother feeding me
and people all telling her what a good eater I am... believe me, nothing
has changed. With tip, our dinner was less than $30. The waitresses
have been there FOREVER, so tip them well, they're one-of-a-kind. In the
Summer, Tony's is PACKED, but seating moves quickly- in the off
season, there is always a table. My mother called me later that night
and I told her that I went to Tony's and just loved the meatballs. She said, "Tony's Baltimore Grill? I used to take you there when you were a baby." Some things we never forget. Amazing."
Jon C. - Aug 11, 2009 I
have been going there for over 35 yrs and the food is still the best!!!
The only bad service I had was at the casino restaurants. "
